Lot 14 · how the winner is picked, and how you can check it yourself.

1. 1. Before the lot closes the house generates a secret seed and publishes only its SHA-256 fingerprint here.
2. 2. Tickets are numbered 1 to N in the order entries were placed. An entry for five tickets holds five consecutive numbers.
3. 3. After the draw the seed is published. The winning ticket is the first 12 hex characters of SHA-256(seed:lot), as a number, mod N, plus one.
